Bust it open. Build it back

Welcome, and welcome back, to my slashed-open, picked-apart, re-formed website and blog. This first entry even includes YOU, completing a virtual scavenger hunt. And, a PRIZE is involved for returning your answers to me. It’ll be fun for both of us.

What’s going on, you may be asking. Well, I was recently made aware of a certain blind spot of mine. Drum roll…I sound darn positive these days. As an example of how that feels for me, check out the 23-second theme song for a current television show. https://youtu.be/tjHOqaQNWnw. “Pee Wee Herman’s Playhouse,” circa 2021 anyone?

I have either regressed or progressed to my childhood self. Designing puppets that I adore, fumbling with fabric, yarn, buttons, and more to find new creatures to hang out with. Need company these days? Ask your favorite puppet to read a poem with you. I have.

So, here’s the deal. Just below, I made a list of six clues to search for on my website. First, here are the instructions:

  1. Write the name of the gallery page and the title of the picture where you found the clue.

  2. Return your answers using the contact page on my website.

  3. Expect a virtual prize, chosen from my sketchbook, to show up in your email.

Second, here are the clues:

  1. a person’s big, green nose

  2. a chicken with bright tail feathers

  3. number “42” on a t-shirt

  4. a face with big, blue eyes and red lips

  5. hair that looks like grass or hay

  6. a hand holding a candle

Thanks for reading. And, I really look forward to hearing back from you. Last, ENJOY EVERYTHING (you can).
